sell your personal location history to third parties.
1. Information We Collect
A. Personal Data
- Identity Information: Name, Email Address, Profile Picture (via Google Sign-In).
- Vendor Information (Merchants): Phone number, Shop Name, Registration (SSM), NRIC,
and Bank Account details.
- Contact Data: Phone number and physical address.
B. Location Data (Crucial for Navigation)
Pintaz is a navigation application. We collect:
- Precise Location: GPS coordinates to provide navigation, traffic alerts, and route
calculation.
- Background Location: Accessed while navigating (even if screen is off) to maintain
voice guidance and detect arrival.
- Usage: Used in real-time. We do not sell location history.
C. Device & Media
- Camera & Photos: Required for Vendor verification (documents) or Menu/Storefront
uploads.
- Microphone: Required for future voice command features.
2. How We Use Your Data
- Navigation Services: Routes, ETAs, and Traffic Updates.
- Account Management: Authentication and Profile management.
- Vendor Operations: Business verification and Payouts.
- Traffic Crowdsourcing: Anonymous data to improve jam detection.
- Communication: Order notifications and Service updates.
3. Third-Party Services
We use specific third-party providers who may access limited data to perform their functions:
- Google Services: For User Authentication (Sign-In).
- MapLibre / OpenStreetMap: For map rendering and tile data.
- TomTom: For real-time traffic data integration.
4. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain data only as long as necessary. You may request Account Deletion within the
App settings. Upon deletion, personal identifiers are removed, though transactional records may be kept
for legal compliance.
5. Security
We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS) and secure infrastructure. However, no method of transmission
is 100% secure.
6. Children's Privacy
Our Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information
from children under 13.

We may update this policy periodically. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last
Updated" date.
